45-year-old Man Arrested for Posting "One Piece" Anime Episodes Online.

Japanese police arrested a 45-year-old man for allegedly posting "One Piece" Episodes Online.

The 45-year-old male office worker from Hashimoto-city, Wakayama Prefecture, was charged with copyright infringement after he illegally shared three episodes of One Piece TV series anime on the internet.

The man allegedly use the file-sharing program Share to upload episodes of the Anime Tv series without the copyright holder's permission on July 5.

"I knew it was wrong, but since so many others had done the same thing, I thought I would never get arrested," the suspect said.

The anime's copyright is owned by Toei Animation. No matter whether it is for profit or non-profit purposes, posting copyrighted materials (anime, films, TV
programs, music, pages from the magazines before and after published) onto the internet without copyright
holder's permission is illegal in Japan. You can be sentenced to 10-year jail or fine about US$86,700!
