The Simpsons Makes Tv History!







FOX has made The Simpsons the longest running animated tv series in televison!

The network renewed the tv show for a 29th and 30th seasons, to taking the animated series to 669 episodes beating Gunsmoke (635) record of the longest number of episodes for any scripted television show ever.

“Take that ‘Gunsmoke!’ You lost a race you didn’t even know you were running!,” said Homer Simpson.


The Simpsons became a phenomenon in 1990 and has won 32 Emmy Awards, 34 Annie Awards, a 2016 People’s Choice Award and a 2016 Environmental Media Award.  has remained one of the most groundbreaking and innovative entertainment franchises, recognizable throughout the world. Currently in production on its record-annihilating 28th season,The Simpsonshas won 32 Emmy Awards, 34 Annie Awards, a 2016 People’s Choice Award and a 2016 Environmental Media Award. The show was also the first animated series to win a Peabody Award.

The Simpsons is a Gracie Films Production in association with 20th Century Fox Television. James L. Brooks, Matt Groening and Al Jean are the executive producers. The show is currently in production on its 28th season.
