Batman and Flash Crossover will explore how The Comedian's blood-stained smiley face button got in the Batcave at the end of  DC Universe: Rebirth one-shot - CBR reports.

The new crossover will explore the involvement of the Watchmen in the DC Universe, as it was previously revealed at the end of  DC Universe: Rebirth that Dr. Manhattan (Watchmen) was involved in alterations that occurred in the comic.




Batman And Flash Crossover To Explore Watchmen Involvement In Rebirth's one-shot.


Batman and Flash crossover tittle "The Button" will take place in "Batman" and "The Flash" #21 and #22... Tom King will write Batman, with Jason Fabok lending his artistic talent. The Flash will be written by Joshua Williamson with Howard Porter as artist.

DC's official description of the storyline:

"Two greatest detectives in the DC Universe unite to unravel the mystery behind a certain blood stained smiley face button stuck in the Batcave wall. However, what begins as a simple investigation soon turns deadly when the secrets of the button prove irresistible to an unwelcome third party — and it's not who anyone suspects! This is a mystery woven throughout time, and the countdown starts here!"

The Button will be available 19 April 2017.
