Tom McCarthy To Re-write Winnie the Pooh's Christopher Robin Live-Action Film.



Variety is reporting that Disney has turned to writer-director ,Tom McCarthy, to rewrite their upcoming live-action fantasy movie "Christopher Robin," based on "Winnie the Pooh"character.

According to Variety, the live-action adaptation film A.A. Milne's books will follow Christopher Robin as an adult workaholic with little time for his family — until Pooh re-enters his life.

" Christopher Robin " will be directed by Marc Forster ("Finding Neverland") with Brigham Taylor ("The Jungle Book") as producer.

Christopher Robin is a character created by A.A. Milne, and appeared in Milne's "Winnie-the-Pooh" (1926) and "The House at Pooh Corner" (1928) stories and is named after Christopher Robin Milne, the author's son.




In the books he is a young boy and one of Winnie- the-Pooh's best friends. His other friends are Eeyore, Kanga, and Roo, Rabbit, Piglet, Owl, and Tigger.

In the inhabitants of the Hundred Acre Wood chapter, the gang threw. Robin a farewell party after learning he was leaving to attend a boarding school.. Robin returned in the forest in 2009 sequel to "the Hundred Acre Wood" during the summer break.
