Trevor Noah Wins Two Awards Host Of The Daily Show Over The Weekend.

Comedian and TV show host Trevor Noah, won not one, but two awards over the weekend for his “The Daily Show with The Trevor Noah".

Noah first won the Outstanding Talk Show Episode at the 28th GLAAD Media Awards which took place in New York City on Saturday, 6 May. He beat “Late Night with Seth Meyers,” “Tony Marrero, Orlando Shooting Survivor,” “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” and “Trey Pearson,” “The View”.

Noah also won The Best Host award at 2017 MTV Movie and TV Awards were held in Los Angeles on Sunday night.




The comedian who took over Jon Stewart as host of The Daily Show in 2015, thanked his mom for being inspiration, "There is one person I aspire to be every single day, and that is my mom: a powerful, strong black woman who never listened when people told her she couldn't be more," said Noah. He also thanked U.S. President Donald Trump for the comedy.

Noah became a recurring contributor on The Daily Show in December 2014. In March 2015, Comedy Central revealed Trevor Noah has succeed Jon Stewart as host of The Daily Show hosting his first show September 28, 2015.

The GLAAD Media Awards recognizing the most inclusive and accurately portrayed representations of the LGBTQ community in film, television, and other platforms.

Trevor Noah was also spotted on the red carpet of both events with his girlfriend, Jordyn Taylor.
