Microsof revealed that Minecraft will be available for the Nintendo Switch by tomorrow 13 May 2017.

Microsof who bought Minecraft and Mojang intellectual property for US$2.5 billion in 2014, the new game will include the same features found in console versions.





The Nintendo Switch version of Minecraft will have a Super Mario Mash-Up Pack -Mario-themed world with mushrooms, chomping plants, and the iconic pipes, as well as the Mario music and characters. In addition, up to eight players can play the game online or locally on the Switch.

The company says the game will run smoothly at 60fps and 720p resolution, no matter if you’re playing on the big screen TV or in the handheld mode.






The game will first be available on the Nintendo eShop in North America, before rolling out in Europe and Japan tomorrow.

Minecraft first released 18 November 2011. The video game was created and designed by Swedish game designer Markus "Notch" Persson, and later fully developed and published by Mojang.
