Yumi Tamura's 7SEEDS Manga Series To End Auguts After 16 Years.

Yumi Tamura's 7SEEDS manga to reach it conclusion after 16years, with the 35th volume of the manga series.

7SEEDS final volume will be released on August 10, the July issue of Shogakukan's Monthly Flowers magazine revealed on Saturday. Yumi Tamura's 7SEEDS manga 34th volume will be released on June 9, and the 35th and final volume on August 10.

Tamura, who first launched the manga series in Bessatsu Shōjo Comic magazine back in 2001, launch a 7SEEDS spinoff manga in the October issue of Shogakukan's Monthly Flowers magazine on August 26. Tamura'd 7SEEDS has around 4.9 million copies in print.




The series is set in a post-apocalyptic future, long enough after a meteorite hits Earth that new species have evolved, and follows the struggles of five groups of young adults to survive after they are awoken from a cryogenic sleep many years later. The young men and women find themselves amidst an hostile environment bare of any human life. Their former home country Japan has greatly changed. Completely alone, they can depend only on themselves to survive in the new world.

The manga won the Shōjo Category of the 52nd Annual Shogakukan Manga Awards in 2007.
