DC Comics To Celebrate Harley Quinn 25th Anniversary With One-Shot Special.

DC Comics released the first look at Harley Quinn 25th Anniversary Special which is set to be released in September 2017. See the variant cover exclusively provided by CBR below.

Harley Quinn 25th Anniversary One-Shot Special will feature issue from co-writers Amanda Conner and Jimmy Palmiotti with artist Chad Hardin, co-creator Paul Dini and Chip Zdarsky and Joe Quinones.





“Jimmy and Amanda have come up with a great version of Harley that keeps her relevant for today’s readership,” Dini told CBR earlier this month of DC’s recent Harley Quinn stories. “It keeps her fun. It keeps her funny. It’s always true to the character, and it’s always new. I really enjoy being surprised with everyone else each issue to see what they are coming up with."

DC Comics September 2017 solicitations will debut online June 19.

Dr. Harleen Frances Quinzel, also known as Harley Quinn first appeared in the Batman: The Animated Series episode "Joker's Favor" in September 1992. The fictional character was created by Paul Dini and Bruce Timm. Harley made her first comic book appearance in DC Comics' The Batman Adventures #12 (September 1993). The character was portrayed by Margot Robbie in 2016 in DC's live-action adaptation movie of Suicide Squad. Melissa Rauch (The Big Bang Theory) will be voicing Harley Quinn in upcoming Batman and Harley Quinn animated film.
