Actress CCH Pounder To Reprise Her Avatar Role In The Film Sequel.

It has been confirmed that actress CCH Pounder CGI animated character Moat (the clan spiritual leader), will return in the upcoming Avatar sequels currently in pe-production in New Zealand.

Avatar 2 will begin production on September 25. Sam Worthington revealed in a interview that "Avatar 2" will fast forward 8years after the first James Cameron film and will follow Jack Sully's family... The actor said the sequel will be like "nothing we've ever seen" and going to be bigger than the first Avatar film.




"Avatar 2" is set to hit theaters in December, 2018, with the other three movies slated to be released in 2020, 2022 and 2023, respectively. Returning cast member include Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Joel David Moore, Stephen Lang and Sigourney Weaver. The first Avatar film is the highest-grossing film worldwide with over $2.7 billion in box office gross.

It was also reported that James Cameron’s Lightstorm Entertainment and Christie Digital were working on a new RGB laser projection systems that will exclude the need for 3D glasses to watch a 3D film for Avatar 2 and the remaining sequels. The technology will provide crystal clear, sharp images, eliminating 3D glasses.
