Code Geass Launches Countdown For New Announcement.

The official website for Code Geass franchise launched a count down on Friday revealing that a announcement ojj John details on a new project will be made public in "7 More Days". The franchise Twitter account also posted the same image with the word "sun_kōjirō" attached to the count down.









It's not clear what the countdown means. However, it was revealed last year November at the Code Geass 10th Anniversary event that three-part compilation film if the original anime series was in the works with a new sequel titled Code Geass: Fukkatsu no Lelouch (Code Geass: Lelouch of the Resurrection) which will take place a few years after the events of the Zero Requiem.

Code Geass first ran October 5, 2006, to July 28, 2007. The anime series sequel series, Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 (R2 Kōdo Giasu Hangyaku no Rurūshu Āru Tsū) from April 6, 2008 to September 28, 2008. The series has also been adapted into various manga and light novels with the former showing various alternate scenarios from the TV series.




Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion Kōdo Giasu: Hangyaku no Rurūshu) is an original anime series created by Sunrise, directed by Gorō Taniguchi, and written by Ichirō Ōkouchi, with original character designs by manga authors Clamp.
