Fullmetal Alchemist Live-Action Movie Releases First Full Trailer, Author Returns For Film Bonus Manga.

Warner Bros. Japan has started streaming the first full-length trailer for the live-action adaptation film Hiromu Arakawa's Fullmetal Alchemist manga series. The trailer also gave fans a first-look at Roy Mustang, Winry Rock Bell, Maes Hughes, and the Homunculi. You can also see the film's villain; Lust , Envy and Gluttony.









Arakawa will return for the first time in seven years, to illustrate a Special Edition Manga of Fullmetal Alchemists, which will be given to people who attend the theatrical screenings of the live-action film adaptation, which opens in Japan on December 1st.

Fullmetal Alchemist Live-Action Movie is directed by Fumihiko Sori (live-action Ping Pong). The film stars Ryƍsuke Yamada (Hey! Say! JUMP member and live-action Assassination Classroom's Nagisa) as Edward Elric, Tsubasa Honda (live-action Blue Spring Ride's Futaba) as Winry Rockbell, and Dean Fujioka (live-action Happy Marriage!?) as Roy Mustang.








Arakawa debuted the manga seriea in Square Enix's Monthly Shonen Gangan from 2001 to 2010. The manga series inspired the Fullmetal Alchemist television anime series in 2003 and its sequel film, Fullmetal Alchemist: The Movie - Conqueror of Shamballa, in 2005. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, a second television anime series based more closely on the original manga's story, debuted in 2009. A spinoff anime film, Fullmetal Alchemist: The Sacred Star of Milos, premiered in 2011.
