Studio Pierrot (Naruto anime sries) has revealed another key visual of the anime show adaptation of Yuki Tabata's fantasy manga Black Clover. There's no release date yet, but the staff of the show will reveal more information at the "Jump Victory Carnival 2017" event, which will be held in Tokyo on July 22 and in Osaka on July 29.

Black Clover follows a young boy named Asta, seemingly born without any magic power, something that is unknown in the world he lives in. With his ambition, new found abilities, and friends, he aims to be the Wizard king. The anime show will directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara (Monster Musume, Yatterman Night, Muromi-san, Long Riders!). Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (Is the order a rabbit?, Tantei Opera Milky Holmes, Yatterman Night) is in charge of the anime series composition. Itsuko Takeda (Ristorante Paradiso, Level E, Blue Drop) is the character designer and Kumiko Tokunaga (2nd season of Kingdom) is the sub-character designer.

Tabata launched Black Clover (Burakku Kurōbā) manga series in Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine in Japan in February 2015. Viz Media is publishing it in their Weekly Shonen Jump digital anthology magazine in the North America. An original video animation produced by Xebec had its first trailer released on November 27, 2016.
