 Ubisoft Planning An Assassin’s Creed Anime Series With Castlevania Producer.

Adi Shankar ( Netflix’s  Castlevania ) has revealed that he will be adapting Ubisoft'  into an anime television series.

Shankarand made the announcement on his Facebook page and said the anime series adaptation of Assassin’s CreedAssassin’s Creed will feature an original story written by him:




“I’m happy to let you guys know that I’ve selected my next project! I played the first edition of Assassin’s Creed the year I moved to Los Angeles to pursue my dream. At that moment I knew absolutely no one in the industry and could never have imagined that one day Ubisoft would ask me to take the world of Assassin’s Creed and create an original story set in it as an anime series. If anyone tells you not to follow your passion in life they are wrong.”




Ubisoft Montreal developed launched the first Assassin’s Creed video game in 2007. The main video game series consists of nine entries. Assassin’s Creed has sold over 100 million copies as of September 2016, becoming Ubisoft's best selling franchise and one of the highest selling video game franchises of all time. A live-action film adaptation of the video game starring Michael Fassbender, Marion Cotillard, Jeremy Irons, Brendan Gleeson, Charlotte Rampling and Michael K. Williams, was released in 2016.

Ubisoft has yet to make an official announcement. Netflix's Castlevania will premiere on July 7.
