Dumbo Live-action Film Remake Adds Another Cast Member.

Deadline is reporting that actor Joseph Gatt( Thor, Z Nation, Star Trek: Into Darkness) is joining the live-action film adaptation of Helen Aberson and Harold Pearl "DUMBO."

The live-action film directed by Tim Burton already includes Eva Green as Colette, Michael Keaton as Vandevere, Colin Farrell as Holt , Danny DeVito as Medici and Deobia Oparei as Rongo. Gatt will be playing a character by the name of Skellig.




Dumbo, the fourth Disney animated feature film, was released 1941. The film was based on children toy storyline written by Helen Aberson and illustrated by Harold Pearl for the prototype of a novelty toy ("Roll-a-Book"). The film is scheduled to be released on March 29, 2019.

Dumbo live-action remake follows Colin Farrell's character, Holt, a former circus star who's life is turned upside down when he returns home from the war. Circus owner Max Medici (Danny DeVito) hires him to take care of a newborn elephant whose oversized ears make him the laughing stock of the struggling circus troupe. But when Holt’s children discover that Dumbo can fly, silver-tongued entrepreneur, V.A. Vandevere (Michael Keaton), and aerial artist Colette Marchant (Eva Green) swoop in to make the little elephant a star.
