Game Of Thrones Season 8 Filming To Go Until Next Summer.

Looks like Game of Thrones 8th season will air in 2919. Liam Cunningham, who plays the role of Ser Davos Seaworth in the television series revealed in recent interview with TV Guide that the 8th and final season of the show will be filming the show right up until the summer. Which means filming will take at least 6months.

“[The episodes are] definitely going to be bigger and what I hear is longer. We’re filming right up until the summer. When you think about it, up until last season we’d have six months to do ten episodes, so we’re [doing] way more than that for six episodes. So that obviously will translate into longer episodes.”

It was previously reported that Game of Thrones' eight and final season will have 6 episodes and all episodes could each be 80+ minutes long.

Game of Thrones was created by David Benioff and D. B. Weiss. The TV series is an adaptation of A Song of Ice and Fire, George R. R. Martin's series of fantasy novels, the first of which is A Game of Thrones.
