Justice League Product Hint At Superman's Black Costume.

New Justice League movie merchandise has hinted that Superman's black resurrection costume might be making it first appearance in the big screen in the upcoming movie.

An official description of a “Superman Black Armor Justice League 39Thirty Fitted Hat” listed by Superhero Stuff has suggested that the Man of Steel will return in Justice League in a stylish black costume soon after a very tense fight with Doomsday.

Our Superman Black Armor Justice League 39Thirty Fitted Hat is based on Superman's costume post-death:

A black variation of the Superman suit adorned during his time in the regeneration matrix, a Kryptonian chamber that reversed the previously lethal effects of his protracted punch-em-up with Doomsday.

In the film Justice League, it seems Superman's cinematic resurrection will parallel the hit comic story, considering he returns in a stylish black costume soon after a very tense fight with Doomsday.

Made from 95% polyester and 5% spandex, this EXCLUSIVE Superman hat from New Era features Superman's cinematic "S"-symbol rendered in raised, silver embroidery -- it's layered over printed mesh resembling Superman's alien outwear.

The black costume debuted in DC Comics' in 1992-93 storyline "The Death and Return of Superman" comic arc, where in Superman "dies" in battle, only to return when he wakes up from his Kryptonian hibernation healing, after the world thought he died fighting Doomsday. Back in June reports suggested that Warner Bros. and DC were planning on adapting the Death Of Superman comic story into a two-part animated film. [ read more HERE]
