Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Full Cast Revealed.

Nickelodeon unveiled on Thursday the full cast for their new 2D-animated series Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The 26 episodes animated series will debut on Nickelodeon in 2018.

The TV show will star Omar Miller as Raphael, Ben Schwartz as Leonardo, Brandon Mychal Smith as Michelangelo, Josh Brener as Donatello, Eric Bauza as Splinter, and Kat Graham as April O’Neil. The animated show will make a big change as Raphael will now serve as the team and Leonardo will be depicted as the “self-professed ‘coolest’ brother.”

The 2D animated reboot will “take the characters in a different direction with more humor, a younger and lighter feel and all-new dimensions to explore,” Zarghami said.

The series is co-executive produced by Andy Suriano (character designer for Adult Swim’s “Samurai Jack”) and Ant Ward (supervising producer, current “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles”) at Nickelodeon in Burbank, California.

“The highly comedic voice cast shapes the team in a fresh way and breathes new life into the characters’ distinct personalities, including: Raphael, as the oldest and physically biggest brother, he is now the leader and his enthusiasm and bravado puts him front and center for most of their bizarre adventures; Leonardo, the self-professed ‘coolest’ brother possesses irreverent charm and a rebel heart; Donatello, an unflappable mechanical genius and tech wizard whose ninja skills are second only to his coding; Michelangelo, the youngest brother, an artist and awesome skateboarder with a wild colorful, and imaginative personality; and the Turtles’ most trusted ally, April O’Neil, a street savvy native New Yorker who is always ready to join in the fun. Additionally, Eric Bauza (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) joins the cast as Splinter, both father figure and sensei to the Turtles.”

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were created by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird. They first appeared in an American comic book published by Mirage Studios in 1984 in Dover, New Hampshire. The ComicBook s has expanded into cartoon series, two live-action films, video games, toys, and other general merchandise.
