Wonder Woman : The Film Sequel Gets November 2019 Release Date.

Warner Bros. has allegedly moved up Wonder Woman 2 release date from December 13, 2019 to November 1, 2019. Gal Gadot has also been confirmed to reprise her role as Diana Prince ( Wonder Woman) in the sequel already in development with Patty Jenkins to helmet.

The news comes after Lucasfilm revealed that they will be pushing Star Wars: Episode IX from May 2019 to December 20, 2019... We are guessing Warner Bros. thought it will be a good business plan not to go toe-to-toe with the franchise. However, the Wonder Woman sequel will now face off Bond 25 which the following weekend.





The sequel will see Diana Prince face off against the Soviet Union during the Cold War of the ’80s. But before that Wonder Woman will appear in Justice League, the next DC Extended Universe film slated for released on Nov. 17.

Other DC Extended Universe film opening in 2019 include, Shazam! Is slated for April 5, 2019, followed by an Untitled DC Film slated for June 14, 2019.

Wonder Woman grossed around $821.74 million worldwide surpassing 2002's Spider-Man, and officially making it the highest-grossing superhero origin movie of all time. The film also set records for the biggest domestic opening for a female director and the biggest opening for a woman-led comic book film, and was enlisted by Rotten Tomatoes as the highest-rated Superhero movie of all Time on their “50 Best Superhero Movies of All Time” with a score of 108.569% .
