New Dragon Ball Series To Hit Tv In July!

Akira Toriyama and Toei Animation have officially announced the creation of  a new Dragon Ball series that will follow the events of "Dragon Ball Z."

The new series will be produced by Fuji Television, and will be titled "Dragon Ball Super" - "Dragon Ball Cho" in Japan... The series will be set after the defeat of Majin Buu in "Dragon Ball Z."

"I've used the word 'cho' (super) in so many commercials, games and other media, it is fantastic that the long awaited Dragon Ball Super will finally begin," said Masako Nozawa, Japanese voice actress of Son Goku and his sons.

The warriors will face an even stronger enemy. Even stronger than Buu or Freeza.

According to report, the new villain may refer to Beerus, the God of Destruction featured in the film "Battle of Gods," or an entirely new character.

The last "Dragon Ball" series to hit television was "Dragon Ball GT," which aired from 1996-1997.

The new series is set to air in Japan by July 2015.
