Businessmen in Africa Anime Reveals Voice Cast

Production I.G's has revealed the voice cast members of the anime adaptation of Gamu's manga Africa no Salaryman (Businessmen in Africa).

The announcement was made in the June issue of Kadokawa's Monthly Comic Gene magazine on Monday.

The anime television series which is scheduled to premiered this May on Production I.G's "Tate Anime" (Vertical Anime) smartphone app, will star Kento Fujinuma as Lion-sempai,
Kengo Tsujii as Tokage-kun (Lizard), Setsuo Ito as Ōhashi (Toucan), Tarō Kiuchi as President Kame (Turtle), Ayumi Mano as Gorilla Schoolgirl and Hana Sato as Lion Schoolgirl.

The smartphones app will air three-minute of the short anime every weekday, and each series will have 10 episodes.

The anime tell the story of a lion, toucan, and lizard as they live the lives of office workers in a capitalist society in Japan, while also dealing with their unique situations as animals living beyond the savanna and the food chain.

The manga first debuted on the Gene Pixiv manga website in December 2014. The manga second compiled book volume (with the English title African Office Worker) was published by Kadokawa in March 2016.
