Steins;Gate 0 Game Gets Anime Series Adaptation And More.

Kadokawa unveiled on Friday the teaser trailer for the anime adaptation of Steins;Gate 0 game released on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita last November. The anime series is one of the "Steins;Gate World Line 2017-2018 Project" announced at the Anime Expo July.

Steins;Gate 0 is a follow to the original Steins;Gate game and anime adaptation series produced by White Fox which aired in Japan between April 6, 2011 and September 14, 2011. The anime series will probably be released between 2018 and 2019.

Kadokawa's Young Ace magazine September issue will debut the manga adaptation of Steins;Gate 0 on August 4 along with a novel adaptation under their Sneaker Bunko imprint.

Set in Tokyo's Akihabara district, the original game followed Rintarō Okabe as he changes fate by travelling between different world lines.

Steins;Gate (Shutainzu Gēto) science-fiction visual novel was developed by 5pb. and Nitroplus. It was released for the Xbox 360 on October 15, 2009, before being ported to Windows on August 26, 2010, PlayStation Portable on June 23, 2011, iOS on August 25, 2011, PlayStation 3 on May 24, 2012, PlayStation Vita on March 14, 2013, and Android on June 27, 2013.

The first Steins;Gate manga adaptation launched in 2009 in Media Factory's Monthly Comic Alive magazine. The story illustrated by Sarachi Yomi. The second manga series, illustrated by Kenji Mizuta, launched the same year in Mag Garden's Monthly Comic Blade.
