Kino no Tabi Anime Series Reveals New Key Visual And Premiere Date.

The official website for the anime television series adaptation of Keiichi Sigsawa's Kino no Tabi fantasy light novel shared on Monday the show's first visual. The website also revealed that songwriter Nagi Yanagi (Just Because!) will perform the opening and ending theme song of the television series.

The anime Series produced by Lerche (Assassination Classroom, SCHOOL-LIVE!), centers around Kino, a young adventurer who rides a talking motorcycle named Hermes. They explore the people and cultures of different places throughout their adventures, spending only three days at each location.

Kino no Tabi - the Beautiful World, is being directed by Tomohisa Taguchi (Persona 4 the Golden Animation, Persona 3 the Movie #4 Winter of Rebirth, Twin Star Exorcists), with Yukie Sugawara (Overlord, Hina Logi: from Luck & Logic) writing the scripts. Ryoko Amisaki (Sumomomo Momomo - Chijō Saikyō no Yome, Danganronpa 3: The End of Hope's Peak High School: Future Arc) is adapting Kouhaku Kuroboshi's original character designs for animation. The show will premiere in Japan on October 2017.

Sigsawa launched Kino's Journey in ASCII Media Works' Dengeki HP in 2000. A.C.G.T adapted the novel into a 13-episode anime in 2003,and Shaft in 2007.
