New images from the Justice League event taking place in the Philippines has revealed that The DC Extended Universe has changed Cyborg (Victor Stone) origin in the live-action adaptation film of the comics.

"Part man, part machine, Victor Stone is a former star athlete at Gotham City University. After a horrific car accident nearly cost him his life, he was saved when his father, scientist Silas Stone, used an Apokolitian Mother Box to reconstruct his body. In the process, Silas turned Victor into a human computer, organic with biomechatronic body parts. In other words, a Cyborg."

The original DC Comics origin Victor was who use as a test subject for various intelligence enhancement projects at STAR Labs until a monster from another universe teared him up. In the New 52 origin an exploding Father Box from Apokolips severely tears his body apart. And he's turned into a cyborg to keep him alive.

Cyborg (Victor Stone) was created by writer Marv Wolfman and artist George Pérez. The fictional character first appears in a special insert in DC Comics Presents #26 (October 1980). The character is expected to have a solo movie in 2020.

Simmons as Commissioner Gordon. The film is set to open in theatre November 17, 2017.
