DC's Legends of Tomorrow: Matt Ryan Teases John Constantine With New Image.
While we wait for an official image of John Constantine in DC's Legends of Tomorrow, actor Matt Ryan took to Twitter on Friday to tease the return of the character to the Arrowverse.

Constantine will team up with the Legends in "Daddy Darhkest", a two-episode arc and the upcoming tenth episode of the third season of DC's Legends of Tomorrow.

"His appearance in episode 310 will involve the following: a revisiting of Arrow season four and the events following that season’s finale episode; a confrontation with this season’s Big Bad on Legends — the name we’ve only heard whispered until now Mallus; some hot sex — something that has been in short supply on the Waverider thus far in season three; and Damien Darhk (Neil McDonough), because how can you do an episode about dark magic and not have Damien Darhk? More than anything, the episode promises to be scary as you know what — tonally it’s The Exorcist meets One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest. Demonic possession in a mental institution, what’s not to love?"

John Constantine was created by Alan Moore, Steve Bissette and John Totleben. The character first appeared in Swamp Thing vol. 2 no. 25 (June 1984), before getting his own comic books series Hellblazer (1988–2013). Matt Ryan played the character on NBC's television series Constantine. The TV show was canceled after one season. Ryan will reprise his on CW Seed's Legends of Tomorrow. The Welsh actor also voice the character in the animated film Justice League Dark. Keanu Reeves played the character in 2005 live-action film Constantine.

Legends of Tomorrow airs on The CW Tuesday nights at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
