Justice League : New Footage Shows Steppenwolf In Action.

New footage from the live-action film adaptation of the Justice League gives fans a closer at look at Steppenwolf (Ciarán Hinds) as he takes on the league. Take a look below.

The new footage shows Batman ( Ben Affleck) saving Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) from a parademon, when Cyborg (Ray Fisher) takes control of Batman’s Nightcrawler and launches missiles towards Steppenwolf, who grabs one effortlessly and uses it to flood the tunnel. Aquaman (Jason Momoa) tries to hold back to hold the flood with his Trident.

The fictional character made his first appearance in New Gods #7 (February 1972), and was created by Jack Kirby.  Steppenwolf is the younger brother of Heggra, and the uncle of Darkseid. The character is also one of the New Gods and leader of the military of Apokolips as one of Darkseid's Elite member.

Fueled by the hero’s restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Justice League sees Bruce Wayne enlist the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Justice League stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Raymond Fisher as Cyborg, Willem Dafoe as Vulko, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta, Amber Heard as Mera and J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon. The film is set to open in theatre November 17, 2017.
